Humanos (NFTs series ) were made from handmade drawing/stop-motion animation. The animation was created during the time I lived in Boston. I like to think of B-town as a place where I found myself. Getting lost in the city, biking in the snow, experiencing the seasons like never before, undergoing various harsh circumstances at the same time I forged some of the most beautiful friendships with people I felt deeply inspired by.
Humanos is a reminiscence of my Boston experiences, but also the depiction of what it is to be a human in the world, a human that dreamt to be an artist. This piece would not have been possible without the collaboration of Nate Tucker, an amazing percussionist and composer based in Boston, and a friend who helped me to connect with the magic of B-town, a person who inspired me to move forward in my career path. Because of people like him, (artists who strive to make art despite living in a world that oftentimes does not recognize the work and effort of the creative community), that I dared to dream high. To be in touch with our heartbeats is to remember that all there is, is our very human experience of life: joy or sorrow yet always beautiful.
50% of the earning from this collection will go to Nate Tucker. The track used in both NFTs are an excerpt from some pieces Tucker will release on an upcoming album.
